Discover the Périgord

A successful stay in Dordogne

You have chosen to discover the Périgord.

As soon as you arrive, we will advise you on how to prepare your stay between visits to tourist sites, walks in the most beautiful villages and sporting or fun adventures ...

Prestigious sites

In the Dordogne, in the Périgord noir, we find the Vézère Valley, which is also called the valley of man. Our valley is best known for the exceptional concentration of prehistoric sites - 14 of them (including Lascaux) have been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our guesthouse is 5 minutes from the nearest caves.

The Vézère valley and the Dordogne valley offer a wide variety of sites to discover: museums, castles, troglodyte sites, listed villages and theme parks. But also many natural places: rivers, forests, paths, chasms, parks and gardens.

The gastronomy

The Périgord is a place where there is no shortage of local gastronomic products. They are found in markets, restaurants and inn farms. To surprise our taste buds, we easily let ourselves be tempted by gourmet recipes based on goose and duck, vegetables and red fruits, truffles and nuts. These authentic flavors obviously go well with the Bergerac wines that can also be discovered in the cellars. For sweets; strawberries and chestnuts are in the spotlight ...

Enjoy your meal !

Activities

The natural spaces of the Périgord offer ideal settings for sports activities:

On the course of the Dordogne or the Vézère we bathe or we slide in canoe, kayak or Gabarre.
On the trails between hills, forests and villages, we go hiking or horseback riding.
On the roads and paths, we explore by bicycle or mountain bike.
Golf is practiced on lawns in the middle of remarkable gardens.
In the air, around the castles, above this green nature, we fly in a hot-air balloon, in a paraglider or in a microlight.
